The Ritch Toop Memorial Award is to be prsented to a BNAPS member for any book, pamphlet, article or story representing significant research on Canadian military mail or a Canadian military postal history subject published in any BNAPS journal or other publication. The award is to be presented annually, unless it is decided that there are no writings deemed worthy in a specific year.
the winner is selected by a panel of judges consisting of three of the following: 1) President; 2)Editor, Canadian Military Mail Study Group; 3) Chairman, Publications Committee; and 4) Chairman, Canadian Military Mail Study Group. The award cannot be awarded to an individual who has already won the award in a prior year for an article or book on the same or closely related subject.
