The Admiral Stamps of Canada: Postal Rates of the Admiral Era.

Illustrating all the postal rates during the Admiral era would be a major task; indeed a whole web site could be devoted to that task. As an alternative, I am showing a table of Admiral era postal rates compiled by Alan Steinhart* based on the information in his book The Admiral Era: A Rate Study 1912-1928.

*Note: This table has been attributed to Mr. Larry Paige, but in a phone conversation with him (22 November, 2006) he told me that he had nothing to do with compiling this table. He credited it to Alan Steinhart. In spite of this, Mr. Paige has kindly given permission to reproduce this table here.

Note: The items that illustrate this page do not illustrate the rarest or most desirable rates on the above table. Rather they are just two items from my collection that happen to favorites of mine.
