As requested by us, an additional name has come forward to be added to the list of those honoured by The Queen. Norm Wagner was inadvertently missed in our first listing - sorry, Norm and congratulations. If anyone knows of other omissions, please let us know.

Steve Friedenthal has reminded me that the Slogan Study Group has previously supplied material appropriate for the Specialized Philately page. It has been posted on the Study Group page but is now also added to the other. Thanks for that and also the announcement that the Slogan Study Group will continue to publish its newsletter Slogan Box on the website and that there are no longer any dues for this Group.

"The British Columbia Philatelic Society is pleased to announce that it will be hosting VANPEX 2003 between Friday, Oct. 31 and Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003 with set-up on Thursday eve Oct. 30 in the Minoru Grand Ballroom of the Best Western Richmond Hotel & Convention Centre, 7551 Westminster Highway, Richmond, B.C., V6X 1A3."
